Privacy is a core tenet at ScribeLock, not just for therapy clients but for therapists who use our product. We only collect the minimum information needed for app functionality.

What We Collect

Your email address (for account access and password reset)
A unique user ID (assigned by our system for secure login)
Your subscription status (to provide access to features you've paid for)
Anonymized, aggregate statistics about subscription history (to help us see how we're doing)

That's it. We don't collect any other personal information.

How We Use Your Information

We only use your information to:

Authenticate your account
Process subscription payments
Provide the services you've purchased
Send critical account-related notifications

What We DON'T Do

We never sell your data
We don't track your activity for advertising purposes
We don't share your information with third parties except as listed below to provide our service
And of course, we never collect any therapy-related content, because we don’t have access to it!

Third-Party Services

ScribeLock uses:

Firebase Auth for secure authentication
Apple App Store for payments and other necessary functions

These services only receive the minimum information needed for their specific functions and do not share your data with other third parties.

Data Security

Your information is stored securely using industry-standard encryption protocols.

Data Retention

We keep your account information only while you're using our services or as required by law. After you delete your account, we may keep some information in anonymized form.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@scribelock.com.

Legal Compliance

We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, and safety of our company, users, or others.
